Man robs Lower Valley sweepstakes business at gunpoint

The robbery unfolded around 2 a.m. when the suspect, wielding a handgun, entered Blazing Sweepstakes located at 7215 Alameda. Brandishing the firearm, he coerced the cashier into handing over money from the business, as reported by Crime Stoppers.

In addition to the money, the robber took two cell phones that were present on the employee’s desk, further intensifying the gravity of the crime. The suspect took measures to conceal his identity, wearing a facemask along with a dark-colored hooded sweatshirt, dark pants, and tan-colored shoes or work boots. Witnesses provided a description of the weapon used in the robbery, noting it as a dark-colored revolver.

After obtaining an undisclosed sum of money, the suspect made his escape towards the back of the business, quickly vanishing from the scene.
