Progression of Oklahoma’s Sports Betting Legislation

The advancement of Senate Bill 1434 is also making headlines in Oklahoma. In February, the bill underwent its second reading and was subsequently referred to the state’s Appropriations Committee. Authored by Senator Casey Murdock, the bill aligns with a vision previously outlined by Oklahoma Governor Kevin Stitt in November. If enacted, it would permit federally recognized Native American tribes to offer in-person sports betting through a compact with the state and would open the doors to statewide mobile wagering, further bolstering the state’s gaming landscape.

This strategic move by White Hat Gaming to partner with Choctaw Nation signifies a significant step forward in enhancing the iGaming and sports betting ecosystem within Oklahoma, poised to revolutionize the gaming experience for players and contribute to the state’s gaming industry’s growth.
